Our workshop

The tradition of coffee roasting is very important at Nussbaumer. We have been practicing and loving the fine art of coffee roasting for four generations. Ancient knowledge has been passed down and refined over generations.

Today, Austria's youngest coffee roaster, Marlene Drack, stands at the roasting machine herself and gives the coffee her personal touch.

What to expect

All the important information about the journey of the bean—from the coffee cherry at its origin to your cup. You'll learn interesting facts about botany, cultivation, harvesting, processing, storage, and transport of coffee.
During the subsequent coffee roasting, you will learn more about green coffee and the machines.

The big final of this event will be enjoying freshly roasted coffee and other coffee specialties from our coffee roastery.

Enjoy your favorite drink – coffee – with all your senses!
